Orvis PRO Wading boots. The last wading boots of the Orvis house. The Orvis PRO Wading Boots. The novelty of this great boot is its development of Outdoor® outsole of the prestigious Michelin® brand of the automotive industry for better traction in humid environments. Bolts in 12 strategically located locations. Its high density Phylon midsole offers a comfort relationship in relation to its spectacular weight. Offers a 3D molded Ortholite X25 insole for maximum support and comfort of the foot. Its laser design avoids seams in areas of high wear and makes these boots the most durable in the sector today. Modern boots that improve strength and durability. Quick-drying Clarino microfiber upper for maximum strength / weight ratio. Rubber toe and heel resistant to scratches, bumps and trips on the river for excellent protection. Great heel traction for easy starting and sudden braking of wild wading. High density laces for durability.
Boots Orvis PRO in collaboration with Michelin has built one of the best river fishing boots on a sole compound designed specifically for fly fishing, this revolutionary new sole design is a disruptive breakthrough of the industry in wet rubber traction.
The Michelin Outdoor Extreme outsole offers 25% more abrasion resistance and a resounding 43% improvement in wet rubber traction. Using the Michelin tire geometry, it offers a broader footprint for stability, a greater contact relationship with the surface and a pattern of lugs that reduces impact and improves pressure distribution.
The two-layer midsole has a co-molded ESS plate that provides better retention and torsional stability. The Phylon midsole, which absorbs shock, improves the "river feeling" and compresses less than the standard EVA midsole.
Orvis partnered with Ortholite to create a 3D molded X25 template designed for high-impact sports, providing maximum comfort and arch support. A top of molten PU for the first time in the industry eliminates seams while providing a cage divided into zones for greater stability, grip and extreme abrasion resistance without additional volume. The boot has a higher cut for the ankle support and is lined with closed cell foam. Scratch the rubber on the toe and heel for greater abrasion resistance, a large heel pull for easy on and off, and well-woven laces reduce the breakage of the laces.
