Hydros II Euro Orvis

The Hydros II Euro Orvis reel is very popular for Euro Nymphing fishing, a fully caged European nymph reel. Since this style of fishing relies heavily on incredibly thin running line or casting monofilament, we've modified our Hydros II to a Euro version by tightening the tolerances to completely eliminate lines slipping between the spool and frame. .

We've also slightly increased the weight of the reel to achieve better balance with the 10' and 11' rods so common in European circles.

A reel powerhouse with the same innovative attributes of the standard Hydros series improved. The reel includes a more ergonomically accessible drag knob. A refined seal on the drag sealed to protect the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism. That rounded reel foot for kink-free leader protection.
